The judging process takes into account meeting and indeed surpassing Customer and Market expectations, the best Internal Management Processes, Stakeholder Outcomes and the Learning and Growth of Businesses and the People that work in them. The 2011 Business Awards programme will run over a 18 week period. After nominations are received and qualified, independent judges will assess each participant in the various categories and the public will also be invited to vote for a business that they believe offers an excellent product and customer service package. Supreme Award “It’s great to be able to share my passion for art with the public and when I was approached to create a sculptured trophy for the Te Puke Business Awards, I jumped at the opportunity” Julie said. The sculpture has been created out of stone and symbolizes a variety of aspects of business today. The Kauri base represents the ideas from which a business is formed; the strategies for business success are represented by the rock formations surrounding the lower part of the sculpture; and the open hand signifies business success and displays a Te Puke icon – a slice of kiwifruit. |
